Memories of Windermere

The talk by Jane Renouf about oral history was fascinating.  Jane spoke of the enormous value of oral history and the work the Ambleside Oral History Group have done in the local area to capture people's memories of the way of life.  We also heard some fantastic recordings of FBA staff speaking about Windermere, the Freshwater Biological Association and the scientific work they did in relation to freshwater in the Lake District, which was very interesting. We would like to thank Jane for a great evening.
